One of those birds that doesn't like Vermont. 🙄 Right when you cross the border into NY you see them everywhere...7 points

Abundant in Florida but I also saw a number of them in Colorado. The photo below is from Florida but before we actually moved here. I have a ton of good photos of this bird as they are not shy and even seem to enjoy hamming it up for the camera. I have Bahama Mockingbird too (only seen one and not a great photo) it would be nice to be able to include it.6 points

Surprise visitor to my feeders today (and new yard bird). Not great, but still a big upgrade over my other Black-headed Grosbeak pics. Sadly it only stayed around for a couple minutes after I noticed.5 points

Ya’ll know which one I have to post… However, I have a ton of other goodies too. https://media.ebird.org/catalog?userId=USER1824290&mediaType=photo&taxonCode=normoc&sort=rating_rank_desc5 points

Seven looks fine for a Western to me. It's definitely on the drabber end for a WESA though. Semipalms in the Western part of their range have shorter bills than Eastern semipalms.4 points

I don’t see any Sanderlings, but your IDs of Western and Least are correct (and Semi Plover)4 points

I confess: sometimes I post a photo from previous days in 'Best of the Day'. I feel no shame.3 points

Nice! They sometimes breed in VT, there’s one pair in Windsor Co this year, so they make it up there!3 points

Got extra photos from your best of the day shots? Got extra photos for the species of the week? Got too many photos for a specifically themed thread? Maybe you've got a few semi-related photos that might be considered off-topic? Share your overflow photos here.2 points

It happens a fair amount, currently they are in heavily worn alternate plumage and some are already molting to basic plumage. Semipalmated Sandpipers are quite rare so even if it was one (which it is not), better photos would be needed to confirm that ID. The bill is too long and droopy.2 points

Same. Come to think of it, I believe I'm the only resident of Rio Arriba County who reports data to eBird, although some much better birders bird here. (Rio Arriba is a bit over six times the area of Orange County and has about 1/79 of the population).2 points

Decent Checklist considering I was there in the middle of a 95° F Day. I'm the first person to have found a Yellow-billed Cuckoo at the hotspot since last October: https://ebird.org/checklist/S1460248882 points

It may have, there was some really small Cackling Geese there. https://media.ebird.org/catalog?regionCode=L270198&sort=rating_rank_desc&userId=USER11889652 points

Sneaking this in this morning before the new bird is posted. I'm on vacation in Missouri so almost forgot to post.2 points
