I saw this bird today at the Hilltop Reservation in Verona New Jersey (Essex County). It sat up high on a tree branch, but I just couldn't get a good, unobstructed angle... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw these birds yesterday at Dekorte Park at the Meadowlands in NJ. I think I have a downy woodpecker, but the beak might on the long side, so I'm not sure its not a hairy.. and this other bird has to be a brown headed cowbird, but it was so small.. maybe a very young bird?

I saw this bird today at DeKorte Park in the Meadowlands, NJ. I thought gret egret when I took the pic, because it was too tall to be a snowy egret. But the black legs are throwing me off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw this bird yesterday at DeKorte Park in the Meadowlands of NJ. I thought northern rough-winged, but then I saw it was perched next to a tree swallow, and I see female tree swallow have brown coloration.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I saw this bird today at the Hilltop Reservation in Essex County, NJ. It was with white throated sparrows, so.. thats my guess, but I don't see a white throat so any help would be greatly appreciated.
