Thank you. It definitely behaved like a young bird.

Briefly saw this sparrow at noon in northeast Ohio, long enough to snap an iPhone photo, which isn't very good. The unusual thing about this bird were the very bright yellow marks that ran down and out from the inside corner of the pinkish beak - they show as white in the photo. I thought at first that he had something yellow in his beak. Overall brown above, plain light gray underneath, grayish feet. Tan eye stripe running back from eye. thanks in advance.

Saw this woodcock along a berm on a park road. It looks like a young one, but I can't figure out whether this is characteristic behavior for a woodcock or is it injured. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bob T. Woodcock, American, 2022-06-10, Best.m4v

I'm having a difficult time telling whether this is Bushtit, Vireo, or Gnatcatcher, but the lack of an eye-ring and the larger beak seems to be more like a Bushtit's. These screenshots were taken yesterday and are from the bird cam near Fort Davis, Texas. Thanks in advance.

Captured this screenshot today of West Texas bird cam. Have never seen snow at this bird cam, and it was quite busy there. Cannot ID this particular bird. Thank you in advance.

Pine Siskin never occurred to me. They're somewhat uncommon in Ohio, where I live, although Brown Creeper did come to mind. Very confusing when the photo isn't a good one. Thank you all for your patience.

I was watching the Cornell West Texas bird cam today and captured this screenshot. Is it possible that a Black-and white Warbler would feed from any sort of feeder?

Took this photo (video clip) today in Chardon, Ohio. Can someone help ID this little bird? Thanks in advance.

Same question, and why no replies?

What Northesatern Ohio hawk?
Bob T replied to Bob T's topic in Help Me Identify a North American Bird
Thank you - that’s a great help. I used the iBird Pro app, and it showed the Broad-winged Hawk as a possibility. Other apps (Audubon, Merlin, Sibley) did not. Any comments on this discrepancy? -

Photo taken today in Willoughby, Ohio, 2 P.M. Bird was around 15 inches in height. Poor photo, but any help? Broad-winged, Maybe?

Just amazing. Thanks

I realize that this photo (iPhone SE) is not much to go on, but perhaps there's someone out there able to ID it. It was a large bird, about 18", perhaps immature. Location; Geauga County, Ohio, about 2:30 p.m. Thanks in advance. Bob T. Chardon, Ohio

Saw this bird perched on deck railing this afternoon in Chardon, Ohio. Can't tell whether or not it's a Wood-Pewee, as it appears to have an eye-ring (or not). Anyone? Thanks in advance. Bob T.

These were taken in Chardon, Ohio this afternoon. Because of what appears to be an all-black bill, I would guess an Eastern Phoebe, but the wing bars confuse me. Any help? Thanks in advance

Haven't a clue what this little gray sparrow-like bird is. Video clip is not good, but any help? Thanks in advance. Bob T.

Just want to confirm that this is a Solitary Sandpiper. Taken in Burton, Ohio this morning on the Cuyahoga River. Thanks, Bob T.
