I haven't seen this hawk before . Is it a rough legged hawk? It took a bird from the feeder in our yard in San Bernardino California at the base of the foothills. August 7 2003.

TI saw this bird hopping in the field at Loma Linda California, Friday May 6 at 7:30 am. It was near a robin and looking for bugs. I looked it up but it said Western kingbirds were flycatchers. Sorry it's blurry.

I saw two black birds with white wing tips in Joshua Tree National Park on February 26. Sorry I only have a blurry pic. I hope someone can identify. tree

Is this a western kingbird? Seen December 23 San Bernardino foothills at 9:00am. It looks more like a western kingbird than a Cassin's from the pictures I looked at.
