  1. South Mississippi, 10/5/19. So, this bird has a yellow-rump, but other than that doesn't look much like any version of yellow-rumped warbler that I've seen on any ID sites. The plain chest doesn't seem to go with anything. What do y'all think?
  2. I have some more photos but I don't know if they show the wings any better. Here is one that shows the throat since you mentioned that:
  3. This looks like a red-bellied woodpecker, but with no red? Is this what juveniles look like? South Mississippi, 9/2/19
  4. I have no idea... I'm sure it's a simple ID, but I can't figure it out.
  5. Looks like a female orchard oriole to me.
  6. Have trouble telling them apart from Downy Woodpecker, but I am thinking the bill is the right size for a Hairy. South Mississippi, 7/21/19
  7. Maybe a juvenile? Central Mississippi 7/20/19
  8. Central Mississippi, 7/20/19 1. I think this might be a Eastern Wood-Pewee: 2. I think this might be a Eastern Phoebe:
  9. I thought I would be able to figure this out based on this V-shaped pattern of wings, but no luck. South Mississippi, 7/11
  10. What is this gray, white, and blue bird? It seems similar to a Blue Jay, but not quite right.
  11. Looked up the sounds for broad-winged and red-tailed and it definitely sounded more like the broad-wing. Like a whistle. I think you're right.
  12. June 16, 2019, Central Mississippi. I think it is a Tufted Titmouse, but it doesn't seem to have the white around the eyes as much as I am used to. Am I overthinking it?
  13. Sanderling or something else? Mississippi coast, 4/20/19
  14. I'm thinking Yellow-brested Chat, but want to be sure. 4/28/19, South Mississippi
  15. Blue-gray Gnatcatcher? South Mississippi, March 24, 2019.
