  1. Hawk was perched on branch for about 45 minutes eating a large rodent; about only 20 feet from pedestrian path as several walkers passed by. In Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, along Menomonee River.
  2. Momma hawk in Ames, Iowa, on July 7; nest about 35’-40’ up in large maple tree; two chicks getting semi-close to fledging
