  1. Both Myrtle and Audubon's have yellow on the sides. Did you mean throat?
  2. Typical adult Kumlien's have wingtips. It's quite variable but this is a fine Kumlien's.
  3. I'm not completely sure. It's a weird bird. Lesser Black-backed could be right with the dark mantle feathers but it's an odd thingy.
  4. Never use head sheen color. Ever. I always stress this. Your scaup are: 1st scaup pic: Lesser 2nd from left. Others are Greater 2nd- Both Lesser 3rd: Greater
  5. Willets have to be Western by date. There are no Eastern Willets in the US in winter.
  6. They're all Great Black-backed. The last is too bulky in shape and bill for LBBG. Mantle shade looks fine to me, although it could be darker. See a bird like this one: https://ebird.org/checklist/S53857375
  7. I see an adult Peregrine here.
  8. Buffy wash and light brown streaking on the breast, all dark, medium length downcurved bill and long wings all good for Baird's. Angle can play a big factor in trying to analyze whether or not the wingtips extend beyond the tail or not.
  9. Everything I see looks good for Baird's.
  10. 1) Sharp-shinned 2) Forster's Terns, Gadwall, GW Teal, 3) Great Black-backed Gull 4) Boat-tailed 5) All Black Scoters 6-7) Royal Terns
  11. Your swallows are martins. Don't know if Purple is in range or if you have another option. Shorebirds are Least Sandpipers.
  12. All Cape May except the 2nd to last which is a Black-and-White.
  13. I had 3 Thick-billed Murres at Race Point this morning, and at MacMillan Warf 2 Black Guillemots, 1 Dovekie, and 10! Thick-billed Murres. 3 of them flew over our heads standing on the dock. 2500 Razorbills at Race. https://ebird.org/checklist/S63764110 https://ebird.org/checklist/S63764357 https://ebird.org/checklist/S63764211
  14. 1) Greater Yellowlegs 2) Eared Grebe 3-6) Greater Yellowlegs plus a Western Willet in 4,5,6.
