  1. I don’t think it was a Catbird. I mean I could be wrong, but I listened to this repeated call for 5 mins before I made the recording. I ran out and I only saw Tufted Titmice (Titmouses?) but I have never heard them make that call, nor have I found a resource that suggests they make this call.
  2. Just after the Red-winged Blackbirds, I have been hearing this around my house and for some reason I'm stumped. 20180714_075127.wav
  3. Can you post your location? That would be helpful for IDing the flycatcher, though I have a pretty good idea what it is.
  4. I've only had one Northern Mockingbird by Seth Davis, on Flickr
  5. I used to think so but, I think it's more of an algorithm that picks photos that have certain qualities like lighting and boka etc. I would say 90% of the photos are beyond excellent, but you can tell that a "person" doesn't hand select explored photos every once in a while.
  6. White throat and bold facial markings leads me to think Saltmarsh Sparrow. Though you're probably safe calling it a hybrid as 90% of the Nelson's and Saltmarsh Sparrows at Scarborough Marsh interbreed.
  7. Don't know what else it could be. Bicknell's would be way out of range and it doesn't have prominent enough spectacles to be a Swainson's.
  8. Glad everything is back up and running! I love this forum!
