  1. A few from today. Is this a Yellow bellied Sapsucker? The other two birds were part of a trio chasing each other. Have no clue what they could be.
  2. Sounds like a boatswains pipe followed by a killdeer. 🤷‍♂️
  3. Point is I suspect most people do this, so one person changing may not have much impact on accurate scientific numbers.
  4. Yellow billed magpie? Wouldn’t consider them ‘small’ though.
  5. I have the habit of mostly clicking on hotspots. The others are usually backyards, restricted access, and I guess places people don’t usually frequent. My last rare report is no where near where I found it in the nature area, but I just put a written description of precise location as others have done. And suspect that more people will come accross it from clicking on the hotspots. 🤷‍♂️
  6. So sorry...had the idea earlier but was just too busy to post.Moved into new home and reported to new duty location. Not really much at stake here i would vote win for you. 🤷‍♂️
  7. In his backyard. End of his post states ‘MA’ edit: I read it quick and just realized my error.
  8. Looked at some pics and they can show faint rust coloration on flanks. Varied Thrush would be out of range as well.
  9. A raptor with dinner in its talons or beak.
  10. Fish crow mobbed by boat tailed grackle.
  11. Canal trail, Great Dismal Swamp, Chesapeake VA today: Swainsons warbler?
  12. Photo lifer: macgillivrays lifers: green tailed tohee, Amer dipper, Woodhouses, Clarks Nutcracker, Lark Bunting, Cassins finch, and Indigo Bunting
  13. Taken in the Rockies May 21 Any ideas what this could be?
