  1. Thanks... I guess I was put off by the plumage of the typical breeding male as well as the lighting conditions of the forest... could this be a non-breeding male plumage?

  12. Early May in Washington DC at either the Olmstead Woods (right beside the Washington National Cathedral) or the Glover Archbold Park (walked from the north end, the Newark Street Dog Park to the south till the Reservoir Road NW) I may not get the true colours right because of the thick canopy which allowed only filtered light to fall on the subject, everything looks kind of 'greenish' tinge

  14. Thank you... and on my part, I'll need to put more thoughts into the Title and back it up with clarity on the questions... appreciate it.
  15. Sorry.. I know not. You can see what Aikley wrote right?
  16. Common Grackle it is... yeah, I doubt it's the Brewer's Blackbird because of the beak but the whitish/yellowish eyes seem to point that way. Thanks.
  17. Okay.. I'll put that down on my notes until/unless something changes.... thank you very much
  18. I understand... thanks. I've put a note on my … notes on that.
