  1. Juvenile Bald. No Golden would, at any point, have that much white/gray.
  2. Yeah, I meant to Common Raven, but I’m lacking in experience with Chihuahuan, so I really can’t say.
  3. I’d say yes based on proportions and general shape. That’s only what I’m getting based on the photos. Wait for more replies, though.
  4. Sharp-shinned Hawk, I think. Such a tiny little guy.
  5. Well it’s not a Purple Finch @Melierax @Sean C @Mr. Gull Sabine
  6. I’m seeing Herring. Bill color can be pretty variable, form my experience. Wait for more responses.
  7. I know I’m in trouble when you can’t ID it. 😆😬
  8. I believe this is a Green-breasted Mango. A Rufous-tailed would have a grayish belly and more of a brown tail than the reddish color you see here.
  9. The BOP is an American kestrel, the dove is a Mourning Dove, and the warbler is a Palm Warbler.
  10. All seen in December 2019 near Alton, Illinois.
  11. I've got a couple more pictures, if anyone can make anything of them.
  12. I didn’t even want a snow day. Now we have to make up the days at the end of the year, which means we’re going in to June, most likely.
  13. I’ve got a snow day today, so pretty much, yeah.
  14. Merlin. Kestrel would have more orange, and a male would also have some blue-gray.
  15. I THINK they’re all California, but don’t make any decisions without more replies.
  16. No idea. Most likely Common, given that a Barrow’s hasn’t been seen here since 2001.
  17. Thanks, Tony. Guess I’ll have to wait a little while longer for my first Greater.
  18. I’m terrible with scaups (and photography for that matter), but there have been a couple Greater seen at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary bear Alton, IL. I was wondering if any of these bad photos form today had any. Thanks for any help.
