Just based on flight posture, my gut says Turkey (at least the one on the left).

Not an expert, trying to study up on Seabirds. I think Leach's is the only one with the dividing line on the rump that would show up in the Atlantic. Was this seen on the beach?
Yes. Right on the beach.

Me too! I didn’t want to say it but glad to hear someone else thought the same thing.

Wilson’s Plover.
That was my first impression also. But I'm questioning myself. Something just seems "off" about the bill and the posture for Wilson's Plover to me. I considered Spotted Sandpiper, but that doesn't seem right either.

Merlin is saying Iceland or Glaucous-winged. I just don't know how to distinguish them.

Listen to some recordings of the vocalizations of both types of crows. They are VERY different and with just a bit of experience, they are EASY to tell apart. With that, you will quickly get TWO new birds on your life list! Good luck!

You and me both. The bill just looks large and "cinnamon-y" to me. (the bird on the left).

Thanks guys. Seemed too big for a dunlin, and wrong bill for a red knot. Dowitcher seems likely even though I’ve never seen one along this beach before.

It's the yellow on the SIDES of the tail that is the dead giveaway for American Redstart.

Are these two birds both Cliff Swallows? Not sure if the difference in coloring and tail shape might be just sex or age differences, or if maybe these are two different kinds of swallows.
Thanks for any help.
