2 new ones/lifers/yard birds over the last 48 hours here in Bowling Green, KY: Fox Sparrow and Pine Siskin . Please let me know if I've Id'd them incorrectly. 🙂

Southern Kentucky got a bit of snow today and I think every bird in a 5 mile radius showed up at the feeders. So, in honor of our first flurries of 2020, Finches in the snow...

More Cedar Waxwings. They seem to be migrating with the Robins.

Sharp-shinned Hawk. Never would have known he was there if I hadn't seen him land in the tree. The 1st pic is the original shot using a 300mm lens. .

Black-throated Green Warbler

Swamp Sparrow? Cool. I'll have to look them up cuz this guy wasn't anywhere near a swamp...lol I figured Field and Song, but Sparrows are my new yellow Warblers--they all look the same to me. I know they are all distinctly different, but my brain just can't seem to work it out. Thanks for the help. Swamp Sparrow is a lifer. Got a Golden-crowned Kinglet today too, another lifer. All in all, not a bad day. 🙂

@Seanbirds thanks, that was informative. Here are a couple more pics that show off the yellow... Aside from cropping, I haven't fiddled with anything else. These are as taken.

@Benjamin in the first photo he was in full sunlight, in the subsequent 2 the light was much more moderate.

Got cut off by these 2 on my walk this morning...

This bird was hanging out eating sunflower seeds at the feeder. My first thought was House or Purple but the yellow has me totally confused. Taken this morning in Warren County, South Central, Kentucky. Thanks
