Thanks @The Bird Nuts. I guess his head didn't look right.

I was going through some older pictures and came across this one. It was taken in June 2019 in Bowling Green KY. Thanks
-
@The Bird Nuts You are amazingly talented--that's beautiful. My Dad could paint, but neglected to pass that particular gene along to me.

@Seanbirds Thanks. I was down in South Florida visiting my Mom and stopped in a park that had a ton of Burrowing Owls. Usually they are posted around their nest sites and I don't think I'd ever seen one up in a tree. But there he was. And this is the pose he gave me when I started taking his pic. Cracked me up.

Watched this pair of Northern Flickers circling this tree. They were not being very cooperative about posing. lol -

Taken this afternoon in Bowling Green, KY. This is the only pic I was able to get. Is this a Blackpoll Warbler? Thanks....

more warbler confusion...

Thanks @akandula. That's another lifer...and, along with the Blue-headed Vireo are new to the yard list too! -
Blue-headed Vireo?
Jodi Nielson replied to Jodi Nielson's topic in Help Me Identify a North American Bird
Yay! I got one right!! lol Lifer! Thanks -
Walked out on the deck this afternoon and the trees were alive with activity so I grabbed the camera. Quite a few Yellow-rumped Warblers, a Blue-headed Vireo (a lifer if I'm correct on the ID) and the dreaded "yellow" ones--they all look the same and they all look different. So, once again, asking for help and going book shopping tomorrow...Thanks .

After having a discussion in another topic about never seeing Cedar Waxwings, the very next day I saw a tree top full of them. This one, however, decided to make a stop in my yard. -

Saw a bunch, less than 10, not really a "flock", of birds land in the top of a distant tree. Decided to see if I could figure out what they were. No joy. Sorry for the poor quality (I hate posting ugly pics), but like I said, the tree was a fair distance from me. The 4th pic was there with them, but he seems different. Any help?
