  1. Taken this afternoon in Bowling Green, KY. Our property is heavily wooded and I've ID'd Wood, Hermit and Gray-Cheeked Thrush in my yard so far this year.  Took the shots of the suspected Veery and on the way back to the house, caught sight of the second bird.  Just when I got it in frame, the 2nd one popped up behind it--very cool.  I thought maybe the pair were Swainson's, but that's a total guess.  Pic 1 and 2--possible Veery.  Pic 3 and 4, possible Swainson's Thanks for the help. veery.JPG.c5d10da583b5b8e666a0f83efb58d122.JPG1685279783_veeryback.JPG.69faa85f81a79bbf050a1ab4565d7638.JPG

  2. Today in Bowling Green, wandering around our woods, overcast and yucky out.  But it was bird-a-polooza!  Pine, Black and White, and Black-throated Green Warblers, Grey-cheeked Thrush, a Sharpie stopped by, Eastern Wood-Pewee, Great Crested Flycatcher and this guy.   Is this a Red-eyed Vireo?  Thanks403102449_redeyedvireo1.JPG.0fea3cbd78c0ca0cdd1134a6d7d4cbc8.JPG

  3. I was tracking a Nashville Warbler and a Black-throated Green Warbler in the top of a tree and not keeping up very well.  I was basically playing the "snap a pic any time you see movement" game.  Shooting into the shadows against an overcast sky didn't help either.  But I thought maybe y'all could help... I don't have a clue.  Bowling Green KY this morning2112046358_unknown9.JPG.1c7bacb0f27174c185011d1460b8a8e1.JPGunknown10.JPG.41362b36a4b676a7881ec533dc0ca74a.JPG1598689796_unknown8.JPG.59771b5fa0884ccef632ab408e08b260.JPG586800349_unknown7.JPG.8f1d92d406534f03285314e84be93567.JPG
