  1. Could this be an Indigo Bunting? Today in SW Missouri. Thanks Anything seems possible this mild winter as Cape May Warblers have just been spotted three hours to the north. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u7ybg2smuy1they/IMG_0197_2020-01-18 9-22-52 AMCRP.JPG?dl=0
  2. Is this a Harris's Sparrow? Yesterday in SW Missouri Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/23umnbyfkjpmiqx/AADYfAGKcn4VhO2NmNIHH5W0a?dl=0
  3. These birds were apparently eating grit in a graveled road in SW Missouri in October. My best guess is Red-winged Blackbird, but I am pretty sure that is wrong. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fl8f7e13wmhhcwg/AAA0sKIZZzBOzOE7xuBb5h5-a?dl=0
  4. Please confirm Surf Scoter. In a farm pond in Southwest Missouri yesterday Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/s/zzwu8fz4da25g0b/IMG_0528_2019-11-10 4-22-04 PMb.JPG?dl=0
  5. Can anyone put a name on this bird--I can't. NW New Mexico today. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/s/wc25v9wx7oa3ac1/IMG_0016_2019-09-26 8-11-21 AMcrp.JPG?dl=0
  6. Flycatchers are tough. My best guess is Cordilleran. NW New Mexico today in a river park. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ix4u4xwakdug2s7/AACMQffhzjrSNF3JXRb1cWuZa?dl=0
  7. Could this be a Townsend's Warbler, which would be a lifer. I took these pictures this morning in NW New Mexico. I found this fuzzy bird in the background of a much larger sparrow shot--to my surprise! I had been seeing Wilson's Warblers, but this one is different. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/94rusqsx6m6sc2z/AAAXAfZ_h9fn09QuYxl_kv2_a?dl=0
  8. Thanks for the help on these four groups of birds. This was my first birding experience in England. Looks like I had several of them correctly IDed.
  9. These birds were outside Manchester, England in July. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wpge8qkvzauyvwd/AACQC_1VWUv_y8WS29sVjzk9a?dl=0

  13. These three birds are from the desert of NW New Mexico, yesterday--near a cattail pond. 1. Merlin thinks this is Least Flycatcher--which would be out of the expected range. The bird appeared to be small and young, with a "naive" attitude. Flycatchers make me crazy. 2. I think this is some kind of blackbird. 3. I think this is a Virginia's Warbler? Thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hr1ha7rt9qfazn9/AADxnQo1LXLe1Bfn20PGT-dEa?dl=0
  14. Could this be a Gray Vireo or a Gray Flycatcher? Found along a desert stream in NW Arizona in September. Thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0ij61kcuq1ymavo/AABV92uRiULHUPLcKnXLalH3a?dl=0
  15. I found this Wren a week ago near a waterhole in the NM desert. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ue4xusayfzj5kyb/AADf7xYkyK69GKZOiRDqlISba?dl=0
