Thank you, Frugalbirders! This refuge is know for its Northern Pintails. I didn't have a shot of a female, and it was a little earlier than I expected.

Bald Knob NWR, East Central Arkansas,, Aug. 31, 2018. I got to the wildlife refuge at the right time! They're just starting to re-flood the fields to get ready for the ducks, and the shorebirds, herons and egrets are all over it!
