just an FYI..... they seemed to have lowered both Black-headed and Little Gulls to code 2 level. I was unaware as well until i just went through the DEC 2019 list

Did this quite a while ago...but I guess now is good for an update I have pics of many of these somewhere. CODE 3: 11 species- Tufted Duck, A Flamingo, Ruff, C. Greenshank, Curlew Sandpiper, Ivory Gull, Red-tailed Tropicbird, Great Frigatebird, LaSagra's FC, Fork-tailed FC, and Oahu Elepaio CODE 4: 10 species- Pink-footed Goose, Barnacle Goose, Corn Crake, N. Lapwing, N. Jacana, Black-tailed Godwit, Little Egret, Thick-billed Vireo, Western Spindalis, and Bannaquit CODE 5: 1 species- Whiskered Tern

That is an American Avocet in non-breeding (winter) plumage

Florida is it's own separate beast when it comes to things like this. I believe the state bird record committee has to determine what species they are going to except and the criteria. Surely the Muscovies there are from domestics long ago... but have been breeding there so long they are now "established" and considered a wild domestic, if you will. They are certainly not like the truly wild Muscovy from Mexico/Central America. Same is true for the other exotics that are excepted in FLA... Black-hooded Parakeet, Common Mynas and the like. I would bet in the next few years other species are added... like Yellow-chevroned Parakeet and Mitred Parrot among others.

One sees a lot of things over 35 years of birding and 10 years banding. Carolina Wrens will nest in anything... doesn't even need to be a nest box. old pots and even old boots have been used. However, it is perfectly fine there... they are very hardy birds.

It is a Carolina Wren.... they are known to roost like that. Nothing is wrong with it.

And can be quite aggressive as well.

Don't think I can take it any further than Boat-billed FC or Great Kiskadee from this angle/pic alone.

Pass on the first. Others are Red-breasted Mergansers and White-winged Scoter

This bird appears to be a juvenile bird..feathering on the face as well as a gape. And if I had to guess I'd say Great crested.

All your IDs are correct... except 2b might be a Greater IMO(head looks rounded and bill wide).

No need for other pics... it is clearly a Song Sparrow.
