    Very unusual, compared to what I usually see. Acted very warbler-like, flicking tail and hopping around in reeds. seen in the pismo beach butterfly groves, pismo beach, CA.

    That is a Black-Headed Grosbeak, 1st winter male, I'd say.

    The lack of white on tip of tail points me towards female Anna's Hummingbird.

    The long tail = Mourning dove The white on tail might mean it's leucistic, or it might be the lighting.
