  2. These where two separate birds taken last week in Marathon and Key West. Their markings are much crisper than the Merlins I'm used to seeing, if they are indeed Merlins. Crisp Raptor by Fred Durkin, on Flickr Crisp Raptor 2 by Fred Durkin, on Flickr As always, thanks for looking!

  5. Love this forum! That makes 20 lifers for my Florida trip! Thanks everyone!
  6. The legs look greenish to me instead of a brighter yellow for a Lesser or Great Yellow Legs. The bill also looks a bit thick, but I'm not sure what else this is. Duck Key by Fred Durkin, on Flickr

  14. So more like this? Lark Bunting by Fred Durkin, on Flickr ...I went back after work and found it! Thanks aliley!
  15. I thought I had edited that, sorry. Lark Bunting Question by Fred Durkin, on Flickr
  16. There was a confirmed sighting at the location I took this picture in Duluth, MN today. I only got a quick look and a fuzzy pic before 6 unleashed dogs converged on the exact spot the bird was and scared it off. How does this look for a Lark Bunting?
  17. Taken yesterday in Duluth, MN meadowlark3 by Fred Durkin, on Flickr meadowlark2 by Fred Durkin, on Flickr meadowlark by Fred Durkin, on Flickr Any chance of differentiating by these pictures? Thanks!
  18. Taken today in Duluth, MN Sandpiper by Fred Durkin, on Flickr The bill looks a little long, but I'm thinking White-rumped? Thanks for looking!
  19. Thanks for the clarification! We don't get many Golden's in Northern MN, but they do migrate through, so I'll see one at some point.
  20. Thanks, I'll get one eventually. Would anyone be willing to describe what rules a Golden out in this case? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but would appreciate any feedback you could give.
