  1. I thought this first one might be an African Spotted Eagle owl. I also thought the two owls were the same but now I am not sure. Confirmation or other suggestions? The photographs were take in Kruger National Park, South Africa in October of 2018. Thank you for your help.

  9. I narrowed this bird down to a Wood Thrush but the description says the eye ring is white. This one look yellow to me. Photo taken in Birmingham, AL in June of 2019.
  10. I photographed this bird in my backyard in Birmingham AL in June of 2019. I think the bill is cone shaped, it's body is perched-like and it's primary color is gray. That got me to the sparrow family but I could not find a black/gray and white one that looks quite like this one. I appreciate your help and any suggestions you have for being able to identify the bird. I call myself a photographer, new to identifying the species.
