  1. Good pics for the ID, agree with akandula, male Purple Finch.
  2. When I first saw this guy in person, I quickly assumed it was an immature GBH, but now that I'm looking at the photo on the computer (the beak in particular), I wonder if I got a lifer and didn't even know it!! I didn't think the Reddish Egret made it to the FL Keys, but this was taken on Long Key, 2 weeks ago. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LMmL8MPL8AiUzQn68
  3. Hi Everyone, I was going through my photos, naming files, etc, and I came across this photo I think I incorrectly ID as a Yellow-rumped Warbler. It was taken January 2018 in Palm Beach County (South FL). The bill and the white eye circle (as opposed to a white eye liner) are making me think it's not a YRW and maybe a Vireo. Any help is appreciated - this is my only photo - Thanks! https://photos.app.goo.gl/LYPtqwKKxn6GUVER8
  4. I feel like I should be able to ID this little guy, but the coloring is making me question it. Seen today in Palm Beach County FL, thanks! https://photos.app.goo.gl/Z2YuATq9Zei4ktP89 https://photos.app.goo.gl/CcMw11LtT4bdu5aT6
  5. I think Rough-legged Hawk, due to tail length, long white feathers near the rear, and beak length. I could be wrong though, wait for another confirmation. :-)
  6. Can't wait for an Android Update, seems like a lot older version compared to Apple. My iBird on Android is still at v7.6.825. Looking forward to new features - Thanks!
  7. Agreed, Pine Warbler, nice close up profile shot too!
  8. UGH - I'm so upset that would be a Lifer for me. I hate when I get home to inspect the photos and I didn't get enough of a possible new bird.. 😞
  9. What about a Forster's Tern, an Immature or Non-Breeding Adult have black beaks and only an eye patch (not the full black cap).
  10. So all these were seen this past weekend, but were either too fast or I couldn't get a got view of the bird. Most are probably not id'able - so thanks to all that attempt this challenge!! 1. No Ideas ... https://photos.app.goo.gl/td4BYVzymEHAXdENA 2. Possible Ovenbird, but without a face, can we really know!? https://photos.app.goo.gl/B4rWKGn4WALvFYxdA 3. Skinny Palm Warbler? https://photos.app.goo.gl/scUW7jfEvJAaNNRb6 4. Flycatcher? https://photos.app.goo.gl/tiZjyvUeQkst4biX9 and https://photos.app.goo.gl/ote7xBE1PiePt4Xa7
  11. Seen last Saturday in the FL Panhandle. Originally I thought it was a Female Painted Bunting, but after reviewing the pictures, I thought the wing and tail seemed a little too dark, along with the tail shape... Any thoughts? https://photos.app.goo.gl/EbZb4xTRacJa9xMFA https://photos.app.goo.gl/YvKXasvEhn97dNqA9
  12. All of these were seen on Sunday on St George Island (Florida Panhandle). 1. I think these are Ruddy Turnstones: https://photos.app.goo.gl/QsCvyZNHqwsJKMyT7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/NBKScPs3AqeEFxSV7 2. Semipalmated Plover: https://photos.app.goo.gl/L5mjiGconEUeGSLw9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/dANrT1PPW4xeXjKW8 3.Willet: https://photos.app.goo.gl/2qKTD2ZkRmB33aWS9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/8iaaZMeGtE5GYrzN8 4. Sanderling: https://photos.app.goo.gl/LfKzunCVATQZev38A 5. Not sure at all - the pointer beak is throwing me, I can't seem to find a fit in my ID app. https://photos.app.goo.gl/b6CW3nQetf7yXFb77 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RrUjPGNEFUCpeHaFA
  13. Thanks Bird Brain, we left yesterday, just in time. Thankfully we had amazing weather!
  14. I saw this little guy on Sunday on St George Island (Florida Panhandle). I think it's a Marsh Wren, but want confirmation, since this will be a Lifer for me :-) Thanks! https://photos.app.goo.gl/NbmVJ4PR2ufHRmvM9
  15. No I haven't removed the photos. The links still work on my side.
  16. Seen this past weekend, in Palm Beach County (SE Florida) Is this a Gray Kingbird? I thought the head looked a little too light to me, so I'm not certain... https://photos.app.goo.gl/NH98bjZnrHmB5TnWA I think this is an Eastern Kingbird.. https://photos.app.goo.gl/3KXJu4vk2uDpQ5jy9
  17. Saw this little guy last weekend in Palm Beach County (SE Florida). The people I was birding with, ID'ed it as a Baltimore Oriole. These were the only two pics I got, can that ID be confirmed? https://photos.app.goo.gl/wc9drC4JLte8fNiq8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/VqYzyoVGP61TnNur7
  18. I agree with Charlie, first photo looks like a Blue Jay. Second photo looks like a Ferruginous Hawk in the Dark Morph coloring - but that's just a guess.
  19. Nice photos, so jealous you saw them all sitting still! Agreed, first photo looks like a Juvi Tree Swallow. Second photo looks good for Bank Swallow - see the white coming up behind the eyes.
  20. This looks like an Albino Ringneck Dove - I actually have one as a pet. They are a domestic bird, so the poor baby is probably a lost pet. Best thing to do is lay small seed on the ground for him/her to eat, if it won't let you get too close.
  21. LOL good point! I carry around a big purse just to have my camera with me all the time... But for the last week, I lent my camera to my mom to take on her vaca to Costa Rica...
  22. Is it finally true? Did I get a hawk other than the Red Shouldered Hawk? I didn't have my camera with me, but this little guy swooped onto a low branch while driving down the street, I u-turned and pulled over, I got as close as I could with my phone before he flew off. I did see his chest though, it was white and brown barred. Sorry the photo is so bad, is he id'able just based on the tail? https://photos.app.goo.gl/visAL8rh1c2R6NDk7
  23. Agreed, an Immature Reddish Egret. Nice photo
  24. I spotted this tiny guy yesterday in Palm Beach County FL, there were at least two of them, possibly 3-4. These were the best photos I could get, after about 20 minutes of looking straight up I had to abort the mission before my neck cracked! I'm thinking Prairie Warbler, but the undertail coloring doesn't seem to match. Then I thought Pine Warbler, but it doesn't have the deep notch in the tail. Any ideas, or is it not id'able with these photos? https://photos.app.goo.gl/8uCMGf6omGzkzLrj9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/qnGvURfeeoAxA88i6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/GE8P4Fj5dTGcgngg8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/AFs4QSWAcnaP4tmi9
