A few years back I was outside in Greensboro, North Carolina and saw a group of 12 tiny green birds hoping under leaves on the ground then flying a few inches before going under leaves on the ground again looking for bugs. They did this as a group. Each bird about the size of a inch and had iridescent green feathers. I have looked for them since and have not seen them again, Any idea what these birds are called.
