  1. Ah, thank you for that! We often hear the Carolina Wren, but I did not associate him with this particular call. Around here, this wren pretty much takes the prize for having the loudest call for its small size.

  4. Sorry, no picture, but can someone identify this bird from its morning call? It seems to be a first-time visitor to the yard, or it could be a more common bird with a different agenda today. Sept 11, 2019 outside Philadelphia. 6:30 a.m. in a holly tree. YouTube, audio only
