I need your help again. Captured this photo this morning while on a coastal hike in Halifax Nova Scotia. The fog was as thick as pea soup. The size and description fits both the American Golden Plover and the Black-bellied Plover. (adult non-breeding) My untrained eye can't tell the difference. Can anyone help?

Is this a Red eyed Vireo? All the others I've seen have been much paler. These pictures were taken today at Crystal Cresent Beach in Halifax Nova Scotia. Athough I am an experienced outdoor person, I'm new to the birding co mmunity and want to get off o n the right foot.

Yep, this is a male Common Yellowthroat. You can identify males by their black mask and yellow on their throat and under their tail. Females, on the other hand, don’t have a black mask and just have a plain brown head.
