  1. Hi All, This Was taken March 28 at the Okaloosa Holding Ponds in Fort Walton Beach FL, morning. Assuming Greater yellowlegs but the eye ring looks more prominent... Solitary Sandpiper don't have the uptick in the beak so these would be greater yellowlegs? Picture 1 and 2? Picture 3 has a greater, lesser yellowlegs? Thanks for the help!
  2. Hi All, Found March 29th at Conservatory Park in Panama City FL. #1, 2 & 3, Purple Gallinule - Lacking the White stripe and has the blue shield up top? Picture #4 - Northern Rough-winged swallow? Thanks!

  7. Would you have any recommendations for what to look for, as in The best way to differentiate between laughing gull and Franklin’s during winter plumage?
  8. Haha, Santa Rosa Beach, FLorida! Panhandle... aka lower Alabama!
  9. Thanks for the time! I'll keep looking, cheers!
  10. Correct, Front 3 are all chipping sparrows. Not sure about the back bird
  11. There has been a Franklins gull reported here but not sure I could pick it apart amongst all of the Laughers... These were the closest resemblance - I was looking for: little Smaller than Laughing, Thick Split eye-ring, White tip on the wings(I did not see it in flight), Smaller bill... I was also told to look for "2-stripes on the head" but didn't understand that... #1 Bird on the Right #2 Bird in the Middle, Behind Boneparte's #3 Bird in the Front (Left of yellow legs) Hope this makes some sense, thanks!
  12. Hi All! Santa Rosa Beach, Feb 22, 2020. A few randoms from today, thanks! Herring Gull and Female Brown-Headed Cowbird? vs Shiny? Thanks so much!
