Bladen County North Carolina kind of rare here. Only seen in yard once before in 20 years of bird-watching more common at the coast about 50 Mi away. Does the yellow on the throat mean that it's a younger bird.

Isn't the first picture a Gray-headed swamphen. An invasive species from the old world they are all over South Florida. -
