1. Hello I was at Frenchman's Bay in Pickering Ontario today and there were a lot (A LOT) of Canada Geese and other waterfowl. I took a few photos of groups of birds to see once I got home if there was anything that I missed. In one there is a goose that looks quite a bit smaller than the Canada Goose that is beside it. I don't think it is a Cacking goose based on the shape of the beak. Can you confirm I'm correct. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10156020886360009&type=1&l=1a8f995d24 BUT in another, again, there is a goose that looks quite a bit smaller than the Canada Goose that is beside it and the shape of the beak looks to be more inline with that of a Cackling goose, am I correct!! (sorry for the terrible photo, they were located right at the top of a photo and were not the main subject. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10156020887360009&type=1&l=66b44d9831 Thanks in advance.
2. Hello Saw this bird at Ashbridges Bay today (Toronto) while it was snowing. Really difficult for me to get a good photo but ... there "may" be enough details in the photo. Is it a Glaucous Gull? or Icelandic maybe? https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10155993763630009&type=1&l=779d01f1b4 Thanks in advance.
3. Hello I saw 2 birds twice this week in the same tree. Are you able to tell from this photo if they are crows or ravens? I just assumed crows and didn't really pay much attention then someone said the tail looked like they may be ravens. Today, Toronto. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10155991695700009&type=1&l=d66646a588 Thanks in advance
4. Thank you both! It pays off to look at old vacation photos -- two of those were first time sightings for me!
5. Hello I was looking through some old vacation photos and spotted some birds that were present on the beach. These were taken in Prince Edward Island on Aug 22, 2008 most likely at Cavendish beach. Are they sanderlings? sandpipers? other? The second one looks to have very distinct black markings on the back of its head. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10155786014240009&type=1&l=dd98f0f169 Thanks in advance
6. Could it be a blue finch? I know it is not the correct location but maybe it escaped from captivity?
7. That's when I became very suspicious that her info "may" not be exactly accurate.
8. I knew it!!!! And that is why I want photo proof of everything I've seen ? I sometimes wonder how accurate some sightings are.
9. I saw a large bird in a tree and stopped to take a photo for IDing later. A woman also stopped to see what I was looking at. I said it was probably a red-tail hawk. She took a look and said that it was a rough-legged hawk (which would have been really cool). I asked how she could ID it so I would know for future. She said that someone had pointed one out to her in the same area a few days earlier so she just knew, and then pointed out it had feathers on the legs. hmmmmm. <insert head-scratch here>. I think it is a red-tail. Taken today south end of Whitby near the lake. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10155722817130009&type=1&l=76d0c6aa9d Thanks in advance

13. @Melierax @akiley I have tried to crop and enhance the photos. Are these any better? @Melierax by "the one of the left", do you mean the one on the beach?
