  1. This might be a little late but I just observed from the cliff.
  2. I got both the Black Turnstones and the Surfbirds! I attached a picture that shows exactly where. You’ll probably need a scope to see them.
  3. In addition to Bolsa Chica, I went to San Joaquin Marsh and William R. Mason Park and tomorrow on the way down to San Diego I’ll stop by Treasure Island Park.
  4. Its been awesome, but unfortunately I can't stay longer because our flight back home is on Friday down in San Diego and we want to spend a little bit of time there. The places I have been to were wonderful, especially Bolsa Chica.
  5. Both were seen today in Orange County, California. I believe the first picture is a group of Western Sandpipers and for the Kingbird I can't decide between Cassin's or Western. Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/554012361 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/554012091
  6. Do we need Wood Sandpiper? I looked on the needs list and couldn't find it but also can't find that anyone has already posted it here.
  7. Seen today in Joshua Tree National Park. I believe it is a Costa's due to the gorget going off to the side and narrowing into a point but would like feedback with people more experienced with the hummingbirds in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/553313311

  17. One place I would recommend checking out is Salineno Wildlife Refuge, especially the feeder area as it provides amazing photo opportunities of stunning birds like Green Jays, Altamira Orioles, and Great Kiskadees. Here is my checklist from January last year. https://ebird.org/checklist/S100813290. Here is the entire trip report https://ebird.org/tripreport/32628.
  18. Yea we will be able to get up there.
