  1. I hope that those who post links instead of embedding their photos realize that it's nothing personal, but their photos probably aren't getting the views they could be getting simply because the photos aren't embedded in their posts. The more visible a photo is, the more attention it will draw.
  2. BRDL 194 ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? Had to figure out the bird after solving the code.

  4. I'll click on the link to interesting photos to see a better version of the embedded photo but if there's just a link to an unknown photo or checklist, I'll seldom find out if it's a good photo or not.
  5. I can't download photos from the Macaulay Library so I don't think a link would work since Birdie wouldn't be able to download the photos either.
  6. I am kind of selective when it comes to clicking on links to photos. While I tend to skip over the linked photos that could be embedded, I will often click on third party links that can't be embedded for copyright reasons. What can I say, I enjoy seeing all the photos posted on Whatbird, and that's largely because they are posted on Whatbird and I don't have to open and close new tabs to view them.
  7. birdie ? #76: ??⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/ Don't ask why I didn't get this on the first guess because I knew what it was but guessed differently anyways.
  8. Failed again on another bird I've never heard of.
  9. And we don't want to know about it if you go there in the morning, thank you very much. ?
  10. Baltimore Oriole was my gut reaction but I'm on my phone so don't pay attention to me.
  11. I'm just curious if others take the time to click on all the linked photos, or if they pass over most of the links like I do and just view the embedded photos most of the time.
  12. I failed today. Wasn't even aware of this bird until I looked up the code after losing.

  14. I can't make out enough to ID the prey, but I'd think a bat would be a bigger mouthful than this. I also see what looks like thin appendages that are too small for bat's wings and too long for bat legs. I could be wrong, but I just can't see it as a bat.

  17. The website went through an upgrade(?) of sorts and some of us have had trouble afterwards. I suggest trying to clear your cache and cookies on whatever device(s) you're using, that was the solution for my problems, which sound a lot like yours.
  18. The bird appears to be smaller than the branch it's on, which suggest to me that it's either a smaller bird, or that branch is a lot bigger than it looks.
