  4. For those that don't read typonese, I think @Charlie Spencer meant to refer to demo binoculars, not binoculars possessed by demons.
  5. @Zoroark, @Quiscalus quiscula, @Spyonabird, @Birding Boy, @The Bird Nuts, @Tanager 101, @Birds are cool, @IKLland, @Charlie Spencer. I tagged those with sad faces to let you all know that the game is working again.

  8. If size was the only criteria to meet, I'd call the little gull, the one that @AlexHenry pointed out, a Little Gull. That thing looks tiny beside the other gulls. I know nothing about Gulls except that they are best left for others to identify, but this one sure looks little compared to the others.
  9. Just ignore us @Quiscalus quiscula, it's another obvious case where @Charlie Spencer doesn't know what I am talking about, and I am too old to remember what he's talking about. ?‍♂️
  10. Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about, again. Mostly because that's a part of history I have chosen to forget ever happened. No matter how you spell it, gangs aren't cool. ?
  11. Aren't they the ones that everyone is looking for? Those funky looking Pine Warblers that just might end up being Baypoll Warblers? ?

  14. Don't confuse my lucky first guess with those that may have noticed clues in the first image that I missed but noticed afterwards.
  15. Failed with just the first two letters.

  17. I don't think that is the birds bill. Notice the similarly colored orange object to the right of the bird, I suspect the orange you see near the head of the bird is actually a second orange object beyond the bird and the yellow is something even further away than the orange object. I think the yellow and orange are background objects and the bill is actually lower, more horizontal, pointed away, and blended in with the ripples on the water.

  20. Patience, anticipation, and cooperative birds were probably all part of the making of that photo. Just guessing of course, @Aidan B can explain his methods but Cedar Waxwings are predictable flycatchers that often launch from a central point to catch a bug and then return only to repeat the process over and over again. A small flock can quickly provide dozens up dozens of opportunities for in flight shots if you happen to be at the right place at the right time. Somehow I don't think that was what you were asking though, in fact I wonder if what you meant to say was, Wow!!, and not How!? My explanation makes it sound like I almost know what I'm talking about this time though, doesn't it?
  21. I was sure you had jinxed yourself with your, "I always get it in the end" comment, but I have to admit that I was expecting to see you fail much sooner than this.
  22. Didn’t you know that birds don't always read about dress codes or range maps before going out in public, @zoutedrop?
