Taken 11-21-2020 in the afternoon at Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve in Van Nuys, CA. Is this a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk?

Taken 12-3-2020 in Glendale, CA (backyard). I'm not real sure on this but I think its a Lesser Goldfinch. I have a lot of Lesser Goldfinches, but the coloring of this one is different. Although, I'm not sure it's brown enough to be an American.

Thanks you guys!

Thanks Michael and Birding Boy. That's the first photo that I've gotten of a GWTE (that I know of).

Take 12-5-2020 at Los Angeles River, north of Fletcher Drive bridge, Atwater Village, CA. Is the bird on the right in the first photo a Green-winged Teal? And are the two birds in the second photo American Wigeons? Thanks.

Thanks Aaron and Charlie. I'm sure cowbirds are common to lots of folks, but those are the only ones I have photos of, so I'm excited. I originally thought the female was a House Finch.

That didn't take long. Congrats.

Thanks Aidan and Sean. I appreciate it. -
How about a duck species and a heron/egret species in the same photo.

I'd like confirmation on these IDs. Taken yesterday 12-12-2020 at Los Angeles River near Glendale Blvd, Atwater Village, CA. 1) female Phainopepla 2) immature Western Gull -- I'm hoping for some other species, but that's what I come up with. 3) Egyptian Goose 4) Spotted Sandpiper

A couple birds at Sepulveda Basin
Dan P replied to Dan P's topic in Help Me Identify a North American Bird
Kingbirds! My nemeses. Thanks everyone. -
These are a couple old photos that I'm trying to identify. They were taken at Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve in Van Nuys, CA in 2013 and 2015. Photos 1 & 2 are the same individual and were taken 1 Mar 2013. I have no idea what this is. Photos 3 & 4 are the same individual and were taken 25 May 2015. I think this is a female Great-tailed Grackle. All help is appreciated.
