  1. No, it looked like a towhee, except a striped head.
  2. Oops sorry. In western North Carolina. It may have been migrating thru, because I have never seen on before.
  3. I saw a bird at my feeder today I have never seen before. It was eating sunflower seeds. It was about the size of a cardinal, maybe slightly bigger. It had an orangish brown chest, it’s wings were black and white spotted like a towhee, but it’s head was striped, not solid. I couldn’t get a pic, but maybe someone can help?
