  1. thank you, everyone, πŸ™‚ ok, I am going with Hermit since you guys are in sync thinking it is Hermit πŸ™‚
  2. Are you sure? According to https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Hermit_Thrush/id Hermit is dirty brown on the back and only reddish on the lower back. I also took this shot on the other day in a different location, see below. And I have no doubt it is Hermit, but I am not sure those two pics above are Hermit.
  3. No, I was not, I am a noob πŸ™‚ but they visually do look alike
  4. Hi, Took pictures of this guy in Dover NH. Looking at Hermit Thrush, Wood Thrush and Verry, I see that Hermit is not as red on the back of the body, but Wood thrush has spots all the way down. It makes me think it is Verry. What do you guys think? https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Hermit_Thrush/id https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Wood_Thrush/id https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Veery/id Here are the shots: it is the same bird, just changed branches. Thank you!
