  1. By the way I did NOT reduce noise at all. Just amplified it so it is more loud. This is exactly what it sounds like. You can hear dog barking undistorted in the background ?
  2. Added original. You guys will most likely need to adjust volume up. It is very quiet. Thank you ?? video_2021-03-19_18-57-34.mp3
  3. Hey guys, This recording was done in WA state (west side) on March 18th 2021. I may be wrong, but I strongly believe this is the sound of a Steller's Jay mimicking another bird. Two questions: Am I right, is it Steller's Jay? If yes, what kind of bird Jay is mimicking? Thank you! You can download MP3 file or listen to it here: what bird_2021-03-19_18-57-34.mp3
  4. Was going through my photos and noticed that one picture in my Red-winged Blackbird is significantly different. This is how female or juveniles looks like here in Washington state: and this is the picture that got my attention. Any ideas if this is still Red-Winged or Tricolored one? Thank you!

  6. Are you sure? According to https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Hermit_Thrush/id Hermit is dirty brown on the back and only reddish on the lower back. I also took this shot on the other day in a different location, see below. And I have no doubt it is Hermit, but I am not sure those two pics above are Hermit.
  7. Hi, Took pictures of this guy in Dover NH. Looking at Hermit Thrush, Wood Thrush and Verry, I see that Hermit is not as red on the back of the body, but Wood thrush has spots all the way down. It makes me think it is Verry. What do you guys think? https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Hermit_Thrush/id https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Wood_Thrush/id https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Veery/id Here are the shots: it is the same bird, just changed branches. Thank you!
