Hello,
I saw some ducks along Lake Ontario in Toronto. I was wondering if it would be correct to identify them as female American Black Ducks?
They had yellow-green bills and exhibited dabbling behavior. However, the white along the tail makes me question if they are American Black Ducks.
I look forward to the replies

I first thought that it was a female Red-winged Blackbird, but now I'm not so sure.
It does not appear to have the "distinct yellowish tinge" on its face nor "a pale eyebrow" that is associated with female red-wings. However, it does have dark eye lines, and thus I'm confused on how to identify this bird.
These were taken in Toronto. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
This is the video I recorded of it
I was wondering if anybody can identify what bird this is? It lets out a shrill call at around 0:05 - 0:06 of the video.
If it helps, this was taken in Toronto.
Thanks!
