  1. It has a squared cap which points to a Cooper's Hawk, but I can't see the tail so I'm not sure which hawk it is. Good picture.
  2. Yes, definitely a Hooded Merganser.
  3. I believe a Cooper's Hawk, no eyebrow, evenly banded tail, white under tail coverts.

  9. It's hard to see in the pic but the hawk had very strong banding on the tail.

  12. I agree that it is a Black-Bellied Plover. But since they are rare I would wait for someone better at shorebirds than me.
  13. That appears to be a Yellow Bellied Flycatcher, though I'm terrible at flycatchers so wait for another opinion.
  14. On a lake with three Spotted Sandpipers in St. Croix, WI.
  15. I believe the last gull is a ring billed gull but I'm not for sure so wait for another opinion.
