  6. Oh, and somewhere along the Indiana-Kentucky border there is another flamingo eta I pulled this info from a public ABA rare Facebook page β€œThe flamingo is currently on the KY shore of the Ohio River opposite Switzerland Co, IN and can likely be viewed from IN 156 roadside about two miles south of Patriot. It is along an open section of shore with a vertical dirt bank behind it.”
  7. 2 flamingos in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Not my checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S149214153. Less than 100 miles from my house, so, maybe I'll go look for them tomorrow? eta: This would be the 6th state first this year, after Mottled Duck, Ferruginous Hawk, Limpkin, Broad-billed Hummingbird, and Audubon’s Shearwater
  8. ABA roundup of flamingos https://www.aba.org/hurricane-idalia-report-2023/
  9. Indeed. That said, I would not call that a bluebird either in Alaska or in Maryland.

  13. 13 American Flamingos are now in Dare County, NC, at Pea Island NWR. There had been 11, I believe. The Gray Gull showed up today after not being eBirded yesterday, in Walton County, Florida. It's near a restaurant called Stinky's Fish Camp. I would love to see the gull and then eat at a place called Stinky's.

  17. Welcome to Whatbird, jmacmetro! Please feel free to ask about any bird that puzzles you. I agree with the identifications from IKLland and Avery.
  18. I agree, Philadelphia Vireo (which I haven't seen in a few years though) and Tennessee Warbler.
  19. The beak, and the lack of black spots in the white part of the outer tail feathers, say Hairy.
  20. I have too BRDL 589 πŸͺΆπŸ₯šπŸͺΆπŸ₯š πŸ₯šπŸ¦πŸͺΆπŸ₯š 🐦🐦🐦🐦
