  1. Thirded. The Palm Warbler is on the early side for north Georgia.
  2. In Dallas/Tarrant it could only be a Great-tailed
  3. American Bittern. I've rarely had such a good view of the species!
  4. I thought it was a young Red-shouldered Hawk. I don't think Broadwings are common breeders in southeastern Virginia.
  5. My yard list just hit 90, with a surprise singing Red-winged Blackbird about 6 weeks ago. We aren't near a marsh, and I would have expected a redwing with the wandering wintering grackle/starling/cowbird flocks that used to winter across the street.
