I finished January with 81 species, 7 more than last year and easily the best January since I was in the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas in January 2010 (when I had 82 species in a single day).

Just posted on another thread -- the Eurasian/Western Marsh Harrier that had been in New Jersey in November 2022 was hit by an airplane in mid-November and was killed.
