  1. Makes sense, though aside from migration route and having perhaps having been subject to heavy weather from the west that hit SWFL coast this week, it is quite off the map. I considered it a vireo possibility after striking out with any reasonable warblers. You folks are awesome. This will be a lifer for me - four in this week alone! Thanks so much.

  4. Saw this bird twice over the course of 24 hours. Once at a the distance indicated in the photo and once close up. My impression (observed within 10' overhead) is that it seemed a bit larger and faster than a crow, and it entirely gray. My guess is Short-tailed Hawk. Any other possibilities or confirmation?
