  1. Recorded this bird but did not see it. Both recordings I believe are the same bird. Sounds like an Orange Crowned to me but that would be rare this time of year in Western Mass. Was in the woods near a swamp. Ignore the oven bird. 🙂 2019_06_01_16_25_401.mp3 2019_06_01_16_19_301.mp3
  2. The bird in the center with the white patch. Is it a hybrid or leucistic mallard? There were hybrid mallard/black ducks in the 200+ mallards I saw. Also, a couple of black ducks. P1410141 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  3. I am thinking sharpie but just want to be sure. P1370038 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  4. Broad-Winged is more likely but like HamRHead said I can see the pale crescents near the wing tips which made me question my first guess as a Broad-winged.
  5. Is this a young Red-shouldered hawk? Not very good pictures but hopefully enough to identify. I first thought it was a Red-Tailed until I looked at the pics. P1340148 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1340172 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1340202 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  6. 1st 2 pics I thought were a Warbling but someone thought it may be a Philly because of the yellow and the line thru the eye seems to go all the way to the bill. Both have been spotted in the same area. Philly less likely. P1340103 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1340109 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr Yellow-throated Vireo? 7. From left to right - Barn, Tree? and Cliff swallow. I am not sure on the middle one. P1310579 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  8. If you play the video you will see the 2 smaller birds running across the lily-pads. The picture of the video doesn't really show the smaller birds only the wood duck.
  9. These 2 little black creatures young rails? I seen 2 adults but they were on the shore where I took the video. Looks like a wood duck near watching the little guys. P1300819 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  10. Took this in late May. I thought it was a Least Flycatcher but wasn't sure. Neither are lifers but I wanted to be sure in e-bird. No vocals. P1210422 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1210475 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1210467 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  11. Is this an adult or juvenile Cuckoo bird (for e-bird). ×I don't see much red around the eyes. Lifer for me Was eating dragonflies with the Cedar Waxwings. P1270399 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  12. Is this a Carolina Chickadee. The bird sings in the middle of the video and at the end. 20180627_174206 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
  13. Great to see this forum back!!!! 😍 Took these videos a few weeks ago. My birding friends gave me different birds. I got a Semipalmated / Least / Pectoral for what they may be. Merlin gave me similar results. P1220425 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1220351 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr P1220140 by STEFAN TOWNSEND, on Flickr
