  1. I apologize, but I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to here. If you mean this photo: That one, along with this: (Top left bird) I am calling sanderlings. A Least Sandpiper would be smaller and colored a bit differently In the photo right above this the middle one is a LESA and provides a comparison of the two species.
  2. I agree except on the semi. Pretty sure that's just a Sanderling. This is a Sanderling

  6. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/618002511 My first decent Wood Duck photo! (Also the first time I've ever seen one without it basically immediately flushing. They're not friendly in my area)

  9. Could someone actually explain why this would be a Bonaparte's over a Little Gull? I don't quite understand what features would make this a Bonaparte's. It looks like everyone else is reporting it as a Little Gull https://ebird.org/alert/rba/US-MI-017 Plus I'm finding examples of Little Gulls that have this plumage. While I can't find anything on a Bonaparte's with that much black. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/29757651 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/357128981 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/453266751 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/29757531 This bird was also noticeably smaller than all the other Bonaparte's it was with.
  10. These are the only other shots I got that provide variety
