  1. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/609440419 VERY foggy morning
  2. https://ebird.org/checklist/S151005640 Showed up on my State rare bird alert email today
  3. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/609394915 A month ago. My first attempt at RAW shooting.
  4. I got several decent Lincoln's Sparrow shots last night! https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/609378396
  5. Got several amazing photos today!!! We'll start with a mediocre one first though. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/609357391
  6. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/608894590 Lifer from my trip! It was pouring rain so I was more focused on trying to keep my camera gear dry, rather than the shutter speed. Hence the lack of sharpness...
  7. I sometimes forget how much birds can vary from East to West. Here they are pretty much a trash bird because of how common they are. I'd love some western rarities to show around here. I have to say for my local 3 counties I think this has been the worst year since I started birdwatching in terms of rarities showing up. There has been nothing all summer...
  8. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/608609681 Magnolia Warbler from Tawas
  9. birdie 🐦 #473: 🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/
  10. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/608514884 Having a bit of AF issues. The camera is focusing on whatever the closest object it (Often times the branch the bird is on instead of actually the bird.) Good day at Tawas though.
  11. Sadly, I tried twice on my East coast trip and failed both times for American. As for Black, never been to the west coast.
  12. Same, I also realize it doesn't matter how many ratings or likes a photo gets, as long as I'm happy with it. I was getting way too worked up over when my photos got bomb and all the criticism so I just basically stopped posting photos on ebird and don't post my really good photos anywhere online anymore.
  13. They are all Semipalmated. Piping would be much more sandy colored. Snowy would also have more of a lighter color. Wilson's would have a large-set bill. 😂😉now if you think one might be a Common-ringed Plover, I can't help you there.
  14. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/607752361 Could be a lot worse considering it was midday lighting. Nice to see these guys since they aren't in my home state!
  15. birdie 🦅 #463: 🟥🟨🟨🟩⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/
  16. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/606226411 Ratings Greatly Appreciated!
  17. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/606126431 This'll do until I get the Buff-Breasted photos up
  18. https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/606125621 Amazing looks at my Lifer Buff-Breasted Sandpiper!!!! Definitely going to have to upload more photos!
  19. In Glennie, Michigan this morning. Never heard this song before. A flock of about 10 birds were feeding on the side of the road and spooked up into the trees by the car. I heard Chickadees and saw a chipping sparrow. This was a small finch-sized bird in a pine tree that never came into the open. My immediate thought was crossbills but I never got good looks. 20. I'm 100% Green Heron as @Birding Boy put it!!! No way its a bittern with the coloring
