  1. Hello everyone. I was wondering what all of you think the best mirrorless cameras are at different price ranges; specifically about $350, $600, $800, and $1000. Minimum of 24 MP.
  2. Got nine lifers on a trip out east. Here's one: Saltmarsh Sparrow! https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/602536291
  3. I originally asked for an ID on this one because my Sibley Field Guide was showing that flight feathers were different and the bird in my photo appears to match Fish Crow. I probably should have cropped and brighten the photo though so its easier to see... I didn't know that it wasn't a super reliable field mark.
  4. Plymouth rock, MA about a week ago. Is this a Fish Crow? The wing shape appears to be correct for it... I have two more photos I can post if needed.
  5. Give me a Green Jay and I'll ship you this one 😉
  6. Race Point again a week ago. Could this be an Arctic Tern? It has a small bill than the many Common terns I saw and pale wings with little black. Thanks!
  7. Also @Avery is it possible the original bird just molted its tail feathers? I feel the GISS of the bird leans Roseate over Common except for the tail which is why I thought it was that. To my knowledge, Common would have a lot more black in the wings and Roseate has two black primaries (which this bird has) There were many molting birds at this location and many were already in Non-breeding plumage.
  8. What about this one? It has a long tail. Also what does the legs have to do with identification? I wasn't aware you could use the legs in aiding identification.
  9. More from Race Point, MA, a week ago. This is what I think they are: (From left to right) Roseate, Not sure, I'm bad with Non-breed plumage, Common, Common, and the front one with it's head down is a Forster's. (Also I have another photo with the birds in different positions that I looked at too and can post if needed)
  10. Just want to check and make sure this is a Roseate and that I'm not seriously screwing up this identification. About a week ago at Race Point, Massachusetts (Roseate is normal at this location) It has two Black primaries, pale-ish back and darker bill than I'd expect of a Common Tern.
  11. Welcome @nolanfisher!!!! Nice to see you on here!!! I do believe we have met in person!
  12. Alright lets do birds foraging/hunting!
  13. birdie 🦆 #445: 🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/ Gut instinct was correct
  14. birdie 🦃 #434: 🟨🟨🟨🟩⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/ Should have gone with my gut instinct since it was the correct answer
  15. 😂 Alright then I guess I should correct myself: I should learn my anywhere-but-Michigan birds better
  16. 😂I should really try to learn my western birds better. I just know the local ones well.
  17. Haha I thought it seemed wrong. I just thought I was mis-calling it a Variegated
  18. birdie 🦆 #432: 🟥🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/ I only got it on the second try because I've seen that photo on ebird many times.

  21. I wouldn't call it for sure, but I lean more towards Long-billed. It has the fuller chest, different streaking, and slightly decurved bill.
  22. birdie 🦅 #428: 🟥🟨🟩⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/ Almost did the correct one as my first guess...
