  1. Savannah Sparrow is correct. Also note the tan color (as opposed to rich brown in Songs) and short tail.
  2. I think that is a good idea. The person who chose the last one can choose again. That means that the last day for the current challenge is tomorrow!
  3. Yes, but my reasoning behind that rule was to get people (specifically ME) outside and birding/photographing more. If I can't get outside or a certain kind of bird doesn't exist in my area, that's okay with me. There will be more challenges.
  4. akandula said the titmouse might think that its own reflection is a rival bird. The bird in the photo is definitely a titmouse.
  5. The two ducks in front in the second photo are Green-winged Teal. The rest are male Wood Ducks. Not quite sure of age.
  6. I'm just waiting for that photo of two different species of warbler @Connor Cochrane knew he was going to get yesterday........😉
  7. I'd go with Turkey Vultures as well. It's hard to see in the video, but they are holding their wings up slightly and wobbling in the wind.
  8. Ah, okay. Try selecting the "choose files..." link/button at the bottom of the comment box.
  9. You can drag your photo from your computer directly into the comment box.
  10. Which part of Florida? Could it be a White-breasted Nuthatch?
  11. I agree with Swamp for the first bird (youngsters can have yellow on the face). The color of the bottom bird is very wrong for a Lincoln's or Swamp (we're looking at the back). The color and pattern looks more like a Chipping or Clay-colored.
  12. Why not a female or immature Western Tanager? https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Western_Tanager/id It doesn't look oriole-like to me.
  13. Northern Parula with the yellow throat, green back, and pale mandible.
  14. This is actually a molting Field Sparrow with the rather plain face, pink bill, and orange eyeline and cap.
  15. Oh, I have Blackpoll Warbler on my lifelist, but I haven't seen one this year.
