  1. First two days done! Eastern Phoebe in colored pencil and ink and Snow Goose in watercolor. Decided to allow myself to change styles and mediums so I don't get too bored. We'll see if that helps...
  2. Looks awesome! I'll try it when I have time! I love word games like this.
  3. Anyone want to join? No need to do every day - I'm not putting pressure on myself to do it all either.
  4. Yes, both are Eastern Wood-Pewees. Suuper long primary projection.
  5. Another one for the calendar done today!
  6. Common Yellowthroat and Least Flycatcher from yesterday.

  12. Thank you!! If all goes to plan I will have them for sale in my online shop.
  13. A sneak peek of the illustrations for my upcoming bird calendar. They are all done in watercolor and ink. @GracesWarbler
  14. Wow!! That is so amazing you sold that many at the craft fair! Congratulations! And the new smaller edition looks awesome! Great idea! I've been busy with non-art-related things, but I've finally gotten back to work on my bird calendar. Done 7 of the 12 illustrations and I found a drop-shipping company that prints calendars that looks very promising. Oh yeah, and I entered a pet portrait contest...waiting for them to announce the winners!

  16. Same here!! I'm a homebody and my yard list is my favorite list.
  17. It could be young, but a visible gape doesn't always mean it's a youngster. In adult birds the gape flange is usually hidden by the feathers around its beak which this bird is missing.
