  1. Thank you!! If all goes to plan I will have them for sale in my online shop.
  2. A sneak peek of the illustrations for my upcoming bird calendar. They are all done in watercolor and ink. @GracesWarbler
  3. Wow!! That is so amazing you sold that many at the craft fair! Congratulations! And the new smaller edition looks awesome! Great idea! I've been busy with non-art-related things, but I've finally gotten back to work on my bird calendar. Done 7 of the 12 illustrations and I found a drop-shipping company that prints calendars that looks very promising. Oh yeah, and I entered a pet portrait contest...waiting for them to announce the winners!

  5. Same here!! I'm a homebody and my yard list is my favorite list.
  6. It could be young, but a visible gape doesn't always mean it's a youngster. In adult birds the gape flange is usually hidden by the feathers around its beak which this bird is missing.

  8. The tail feathers are translucent, as are the wing feathers, and look whitish with the sun shining through and on them.

  11. I agree that it is not a Baltimore because of the hue of the orange and the lighter brown-gray wings and back.
  12. Gray Catbird without its long tail, in my opinion.

  14. Female-type. Could be a young male this time of year.
  15. My impression was Summer Tanager. Its beak seems larger to me and there is a lot of yellow on the wings. Not sure Scarlets are common there this time of year.
  16. It's a flycatcher, likely Traill's (Alder/Willow).
  17. Definitely not a cardinal - the beak is too small and it's too brown. Looks good for a House Finch.
