  1. Not a hawk - it's a young Peregrine Falcon!
  2. Yes, a Broad-winged (short tail with wide dark and light bands, muted rufous barring on breast and belly).
  3. Welcome to the forum! Looks good for a Bobolink! I'm not sure if it's an adult female or juvenile, though.
  4. Yes, I think they're both female Brown-headed Cowbirds.
  5. Ignore my previous post about the link issue then. Maybe it has been fixed or maybe it just happens every once in a while. ?
  6. Okay, I'll try it: https://www.flickr.com/photos/birdnuts/ Hmm, it worked!
  7. The "Edited by" message is automatic for me and there is no option to turn it off, but I don't have a problem with that. I do, however, have a problem with the links not turning underlined and blue immediately, although that probably can't be fixed. The only way to make a link work is to submit the post then edit the post and press the space bar or enter key after the URL. Have you noticed that there are "Edited by" messages on all the posts with links?
  8. The sparrow is a juvenile (it still has its fleshy gape) which makes it a lot more difficult to ID.
  9. Looks good for a young American Robin. Location and date are always helpful.
  10. It is not a falcon because of the light eyes and extremely long tail. It's a young Cooper's Hawk (thin streaking, graduated tail feathers).
  11. I'll suggest yellow variant male House Finch: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&biw=1600&bih=770&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=MotOW8vBDo6b_QbioJCgAQ&q=yellow+variant+House+Finch&oq=yellow+variant+House+Finch&gs_l=img.3...
