  1. Big-headed and small-billed appearance makes me think Least also.
  2. Yep! Pattern on undertail coverts distinguishes Wood-Pewees from Empids.
  3. birdie 🦅 #442: 🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/
  4. It's a tough angle and lighting. Leaning Wood-Pewee like the others, but also not sure.
  5. 2, 3, and 4 looks like a Least to me (short primary projection). The rest are young Eastern Phoebes (brownish color, completely black beak).
  6. It's looking great! I do see one error - the bird on the activities page is a nuthatch not a chickadee. 🙂
  7. One of those birds that doesn't like Vermont. 🙄 Right when you cross the border into NY you see them everywhere...
  8. Note the proportions - Towhees have shorter, conical sparrow bills and smaller heads compared to their bodies.
  9. birdie 🦆 #432: 🟨🟨🟨🟩⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/
  10. This is one of my best photos of a cardinal, despite the low light.
  11. I think the bird in photos 7, 8, and 9 is a juvenile Savannah Sparrow. The rest are Songs.
  12. Eastern Wood-Pewees have longer primary projection.
  13. birdie 🦅 #428: 🟥🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛ https://birdiegame.net/
  14. You sure she doesn't have coyote in her? Being a hobby farmer and dog lover, I very much enjoyed your lectures. 🙂
  15. Easy Coop. Flat head, "angry" brow ridge, the dark nape color does not continue down the back, and the tail IS graduated.
  16. Location/date + appearance. This guy has a very typical Willow crest and grayish coloration.
  17. Yep, Red-winged Blackbird. I'd call it a juvenile, but I could be wrong.
